Assistant Professor of Pracce, Lisa DuBois Low
Lisa Du Bois Low is Assistant Professor of Pracce in the Department of Public Relations in the College of Media & Communication at Texas Tech University. Low has been writing, speaking and consulting about social and owned media since 2007. She is well known for her expertise on the intersection of technology, social media and strategic communications and is a frequent source for local and national media outlets.
Low teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in digital and social media, strategic planning, professionalism, and business fundamentals. She frequently conducts workshops on topics ranging from branding to digital storytelling to reputation management.
Low is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America at the national and local levels and is APR certified. Low earned an MBA from Baker University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (Marketing Emphasis) from Park University. She is FEMA certified in emergency communications.
Low serves on the Entertainment Lubbock Committee and as a trustee of the Museum of Texas Tech University Association.
